Life in a London Start Up
In: London|Travel Blog
7 May 2009My newest review is live on Spoonfed for Billy Elliot at the Victoria Palace Theatre:
As I sit comfortably in my seat about halfway through the first act of Billy Elliot at the Victoria Palace Theatre, I get the sense that despite your usual song-and-dance numbers, this show offers something a bit different than most West End musicals. Whether it’s a unique approach to music within the show, a surprisingly earnest and engaging cast of children or the RBC quality ballet performances, Billy Elliot stands head and shoulders over most commercial West End tourist fare.

@Kelly
You know, someone else mentioned this too me – but those reviews on my Spoonfed profile are all the events I go to in my free time, not things I go to review for work necessarily. So why would I go to something I know I’m not going to like? Clearly I’m just really good at choosing good things to do around London. Which you would know if you came to visit me!!
